Jack’s Hub facilities cater for all ages of male and female with various activity Groups. Sometimes things can just become very over- whelming and you just need someone to talk to.

Our “Listening Ear” service or “Active Listening” as it is also known is an opportunity to talk for 20 mins.
Listening Ear is provided by a trained member of staff who will listen to you in a non judgmental way, it is about really listening and hearing you and your feelings which may be anger, hurt, joy.
Listening Ear Appointments are available in hub, via telephone and virtual consultation (computer).
Everything shared is in confidence. We don’t offer solutions or advise and through active listening the solutions can normally be found from within you.

Ladies support group runs every Tuesday. We offer a place to come relax and meet new people. Giving woman the chance to have a safe space where they can come and engage with woman from local areas and gives the opportunity to get out the house for a few hours a week.
Natter is a referral based support group for young people who are struggling within
mainstream education, struggling at home or struggle within mainstream groups.
This is a smaller group with young people and young adults who are looking for an
opportunity to meet new friends and get support within a supported environment. Discussions will include mental health and worries, a range of different activities and incorporate some art therapy into our sessions
This support group is exclusively for children and young adults.
This unique service is available for young people who would not enjoy a mainstream youth group.
Knit n Natter is a fantastic group where you can meet new people and learn to knit or crochet. Our group is open to all ages from beginner to expert.
You can get involved in helping others such as making small baby hats for neonatal babies, or outfits for babies born in Malawi that have no clothes. You might like to get involved with making small items that we put out in the community on our awareness days
You might just like to come and knit your own things. Even if you’ve never knitted or crocheted before why not pop in and try it you never know it might be something you really enjoy.
RESET is a 10 Week educational, self-esteem and confidence building workshop which promotes the importance of positive reinforcement. The purpose of RESET is to learn new skills, make new friends and ensure our young people and young adults are listened to.
At the end of the 10 weeks we celebrate the individual’s achievement by organising a trip to celebrate their success and we also present a certificate of participation.
For young people interested in writing songs, writing lyrics and writing poems. Take part in a weekly song writing sessions where young people come together and write about their thoughts, feelings and their lives..

Seeking help is not easy and we want to make getting that help as easy as possible by offering a variety of options
For some people, face to face counselling, therapy and support is best but it doesn’t meet everybody’s needs and we make sure that nobody is left behind.
